December – April
Rivers fished are the Rogue, Elk, Sixes, Chetco, and the Umpqua, depending on fishing conditions and your desires. Steelhead caught this time of year are larger fish than the summer run Steelhead.
You are sure to enjoy the fight of a Steelhead on the end of your rod. When catching the fish, oftentimes the boat and the fisherman end up in hot pursuit down the river! All fishing tackle and equipment is furnished unless you have a favorite of your own. On these trips, you will need to bring your lunch and your fishing license and a Salmon/Steelhead tag.
It is always a good idea to bring rain gear on these trips due to the time of year that we fish for winter Steelhead.
